Revolver takes the lead

Led by Tomorrow Never knows and Good Day Sunshine, Revolver has regained the lead. Its the first time in 8 months that the lead has changed hands.

Rubber Soul still ahead

The lead has narrowed, but Rubber Soul still holds a 36 point lead. Its interesting because in direct matchups, only 4 Rubber Soul tracks win against Revolver. But two are the biggest blowouts of the 14 matchups: Nowhere Man (witch was easily predictable going against the weak Love You To), and the other is In My Life which many consider one of the Beatles all time best songs.

Battle by tempo

Coming a May: a new variation on Revolver vs Rubber.

Instead of listing the match-ups of songs according to the sequence on the CDs, they'll be in order of slowest song to fastest for each CD based on BPM (beats per minute). The match-ups will then be based on some degree of musical reasoning, and it actually makes the match-ups more interesting.

Rubber Soul surges ahead....

After trailing for the first month (since the site went live), Rubber Soul has suddenly gone in front by 56 points. Such a complete swing was unexpected. As recently as Aptil 10, Revolver had a 74 point lead.

Top vote getter continues to be "In My Life".
